Football Pitch Vandalism

Last Night 04/12/17 the Main Football pitch was damaged by someone on a motor bike/scrambler. One such vehicle was heard going around the village last night apparently beyond midnight.

Balmedie Leisure Centre and Middlefield Wasps both run by dedicated volunteers, fund raise and spend thousands of pounds every year on maintenance of these grounds, in order to keep them playable.

Within the last 18 months thanks to funding from Landfill Tax via Belhelvie Community Council, just under £24,000 pounds was spent to turn one of the grounds into two seven aside pitches which Balmedie School use for free on a Saturday morning.

If anyone saw this individual on or around the pitch and country park could you be so kind and pass on their details to police Scotland on 101 Incident number 10025/12.

Thank You
